Job Summary:

Global Account Executives are experienced business development professionals who focus on driving revenue and margin growth for ever expanding base of customer accounts. Global Account Executives partner with Engineers, and Solution Architects to develop deep, value add technology solutions for their customers.With a proven track record of selling technology solutions (storage, servers, software, managed and professional services) to major customers, our Account Executives are trusted partners who manage deep account relationships with multiple contacts throughout their customers’ organizations, develop strategic sales plans and thrive on driving results for both customer and Paragon Micro.


Key Responsibilities:

  • • Outbound calling to potential and established customers
  • • Establishing and growing relationships with key executives and decision makers
  • • Overcoming customer objections to close sales and educate customers on the value of doing business with Paragon Micro
  • • Responsible for developing a consulted relationship with the clientele that will allow you to offer a variety of products. These products include, but are not limited to, enterprise services, database software, desktops, laptops, networking, security, anti-virus, and storage.
  • • Complete all quotes, orders, returns, RFI’s and other processes to allow start-to-finish management of client technology and service needs
  • • Conduct executive briefings and events with clients to grow overall business as needed
  • • Positioning Paragon Micro’s solutions as a strategic advantage to our customers’ long-term needs


Required Qualifications:
  • • 5+ years of direct sales experience or Data Center or VAR experience required
  • • Established customer relationships
  • • BA/BS degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • • Solid understanding of technologies and partners that drive Paragon Micro’s networking and storage solutions such as, but not limited to: Dell, Cisco, EMC, HP, Microsoft etc.
  • • Proven record of accomplishment hunting new business and marketing technical services; deep customer relationships in the public sector
  • • Ability to travel up to 25% in region as needed
  • • Valid Driver’s License


Preferred Qualifications:
  • • Strong sales drive and aspiration to win
  • • Proven sales record producing within the top 20% of current sales organization
  • • Proficient with Microsoft Office in addition to basic computer knowledge
  • • Strong organization and time management skills
  • • Effective communication skills to aid in forming relationships with your customers, coworkers, and partner channels

Public sector sales Account Executives (AE) are experienced business development professionals who focus on driving revenue and margin growth for public sector accounts (federal, state, local governments and educational institutions). Public sector AE’s partner with Engineers, and Solution Architects to develop deep, value add technology solutions for their customers. With a proven track record of selling technology solutions (storage, servers, software, managed and professional services) to major customers, our public sector AE’s are trusted partners who manage deep account relationships with multiple contacts throughout their customers’ organizations, develop strategic sales plans and thrive on driving results for both customer and Paragon Micro.
